Suicide Prevention Awareness Week

With the passing of many celebrities this last month, and the institution of Suicide Prevention Awareness Week in Ripon, one can’t help but wonder what causes these poor souls to take their own lives.

On Thursday, the Peer Helping class hosted a balloon release for those we have lost to suicide here at Ripon High to remind anyone who may be having suicidal thoughts that people really do care. It was a successful event as nearly 100 students showed up to help in the release.  Below are a few photos of the event.
