Soaring Over Ripon
On Labor Day weekend, Ripon had a special occasion with a new name called Soaring Over Ripon. In this event, local Ripon High students volunteer to help fire up the hot air balloons and send them in the sky. This event allowed all to watch these multicolored balloons fly. “I had a fun time working and putting up the balloons.” said freshman Stefanie Jones. There were multiple events at the occasion, including fair rides. There was also an obstacle course of varying difficulty, named “The Fun Run”. If you couldn’t come this year, make sure you can come next year.
