    Last FG Saves Giants

On Saturday, September 18, the New Orleans Saints and New York Giants battled through a tough game. The struggling Saints came into week two a little frustrated after a tough loss against the Raiders. The Giants came into week two after a nail-biting game against the Cowboys in which they won 20-19. The game started out slow for both the Giants and Saints, and nobody scored until Giants’ cornerback, Janoris Jenkins scored a 65 yard touchdown off of the Saints’ blocked field goal. After halftime, the score was 3-10, Giants. Saints’ wide receiver Drew Brees tied up the game with a 17 yard pass to Willie Snead for a touchdown. Not long after, the Giants took the lead again with a field goal in the middle of the fourth quarter, and Saints responded back with a field goal to tie up the game with only 2:54. As time ran down, fans from both sides were starting to get anxious to see if somebody would take the lead, or if they would go into overtime. However, the Giants’ kicker, Josh Brown helped the Giants to their victory in the last seconds of the game to advance the Giants’ record to 2-0. Although the Saints lost, quarterback Drew Brees set a milestone in his career by surpassing Dan Marino for third-most passing yards in NFL history.
