Girls Varsity Soccer, Indians Vs. Mustangs

Our lady Indians moved to yet another game this season on January 22nd against Mountain House High School at home. With a start time of 5:30pm the ladies went out on the field with a win on their minds.

With a close call in the first half, Mountain House at 1 and Ripon at 2, our lady Indians knew they needed to get their head in the game for the second half of this game to come out with a win.

Both offense and defense pulled through in the second half of this game as our ladies managed to stop Mountain house from making any additional goals in the second half and successfully scored an additional 2 goals against Mountain House leading them to a victory of 4-1.

Senior player Genevieve Maurice gave insight on how she felt the game went, “ I think we did pretty well overall. We have a wonderful connection on and off the field. We definitely still have some things we need to work out for the second half of the season, but I believe in my team’s abilities, and hopefully, we will make it into sections and win TVL.”

With these hopeful words, we wish our lady’s best luck in their upcoming games and hope to see them in the TVL finals.
