On Tuesday, the RHS girl’s basketball team took on a challenging game playing Beyer High School. With unstoppable steals from Ruth Waters and impressive shots from Tia Sidtikum, our girls once again defeated the Patriots. Our girls led the entire game even though the score was incredibly close the whole time. At half time they led 26 to 13 and were able to keep up the lead by finally winning 46 to 34. Team member and huge asset to Tuesday’s game, Morgan Carrico, had this to say about one of their first of many wins this season: “Going into we knew it was going to be tough. We knew they would come back wanting revenge since we beat them last season too, but with our incredible defense, we were able to hold them.”
