  • If you are interested in participating in “drive your tractor to school” day, there will be an informational meeting in Morino’s room, A3, at lunch on February 21st. This is open to everyone here at RHS! Also, the FFA Week Car and truck show entries are now open! Look for the QR code to sign up! It’s Open to everyone!
  • Seniors, it’s time to pay attention to the daily announcements! On Friday, February 24th, we will be holding cap and gown pick ups at lunch by Mortys office. Don’t forget to bring ID. There’s only one day of distribution, and if you forget ID, or don’t show up at all, you will find a later pick up date may prove to be difficult. Another reminder, your cap and gown is necessary for graduation. Do your best not to forget!
  • Imagine, create and learn more through photography at the Ripon Public Library, attend one or more of their sessions on gaining a new perspective on photography. The next session is Thursday, February 23rd at 4:00 p.m. Stop by the Ripon public library to find out more.
  • We want to wish the curling team good luck as they compete in the state tournament this weekend.Just a reminder to the club that there will be a curling club meeting today at lunch in Mr. Giedd´s room.
  • Do you have books you no longer want to read? Are they just taking up space on your bookshelf? Well, you’re in luck! There will be a book drive next week, February 21-24, outside of the library with a slot for you to drop your books into. 
  • We will have an interest meeting for any students that are interested in bringing new AP classes such as AP chemistry, physics, seminar, and research to RHS. Stop by Mr. Brown’s classroom, B3, for a lunch meeting TODAY for more information.
  • Congratulations to our Boys and Girls Basketball teams for their fine seasons and making it to the playoffs! We are proud of you.
  • Our girls soccer team advances to the D4 Semi Final tomorrow night and will travel to Roseville to face the #1 seed, West Park.  Good luck, Lady Indians.

  • In honor of black history month we will be recognizing Frederick Douglass who was an American social reformer, abolitionist, and writer who escaped slavery in Maryland, and became a national leader of the abolitionist movement in Massachusetts and New York, becoming famous for his oratory and anti slavery writings.
