    Ripon Volleyball vs. Hughson

On Tuesday night, our Ripon Lady Indians volleyball team had a clean sweep against the Hughson Huskies. The JV and Freshman teams won in two sets, and Varsity won in three. Many fans came to watch the match as the Lady Indians crushed their opponents.

Mia Benzinger, on the JV team, said, “I felt we work really great as a team. Our goal is to win TVL. Winning this match brought us one step closer.”

Although the JV and Freshmen teams played a quick match, Coach Erin Cutino stated that they won with a few bumps. She said, “We didn’t play our best game vs. Hughson and we started off slow. Though we had a lot of errors, our girls came together and continued to battle and beat Hughson in three. They never game up!”

Overall, our Lady Indians played with great strength and are striving towards the TVL championship title.
