Powder Puff

dscn2625-1

As the sun set and the Thursday night lights came on, the girls from both football teams prepared to play against each other in the annual Powder Puff game.  The freshmen and the seniors were joined as one, as well as the sophomores and the seniors.

The coaches put in time at lunches to make sure their players were prepared for the big game, and they did just that.

The freshmen and senior team quickly took a lead in the first half.  Both teams worked hard and the stands were full.

At halftime, the guy cheerleaders did their routine and entertained the crowd just before the homecoming king was announced.  Luis Candido was crowned king.  An eventful halftime led on to the last twenty minutes of the game.

The freshmen/senior team won the game 26-0 and both sides congratulated each other afterwards.  Both teams worked hard and the game was a great way to kick off the homecoming weekend.
