The ladies of the Ripon High Water Polo team played their first preseason games this past Labor Day at Johansson High School in Modesto, CA.
The ladies kept their moral high and their energy up as they played their last three games back-to-back. “It took skill and concentration, but in the end we had fun!” said Chelsea Banta-Duval (7) a new player to RHS.
This year women’s water polo at RHS has a new coach, Christine Zador. When asked about how she felt about having a new coach, Andria Martin (13) said this; “The team has quickly taken to Christine. She has a lot of different perspectives on the game that I really like.”
Overall the ladies are excited for their upcoming season. Come support the Ripon High Indians Water Polo teams, both boys and girls!
