The Cubs are an unlucky bunch of players, as they have not won a World Series in over a century. Monday this team’s dream of breaking the streak has gotten a little closer with their win against the Giants.
The game was a close one, coming down to the last inning and the Cubs were down by three. Then a miracle happened, the Cubs made a glorious comeback.
6-5 was the ending score and the Giant’s stadium was speechless.
Their team was so close to victory, but had their season end in defeat. It was the end of the road for the Giants.
It was Chicago’s time to celebrate, as their very own Cubs are closing in on the World Series. The next and final step to the series is the National Conference against either the Dodgers or the Nationals.
