o win but unfortunately lost. The final score ofthe game was 80-34.

This team made exceptionally far especially for having such a low number of seniors. The team is mostly made up of juniors and two sophomores.

Reina Sausedo is one of the two sophomores on the team. This is her second year on the team and this year she won team MVP.

“Freshman year, it was scary to step out on the court with girls with so much more experience with high school basketball,” said Sausedo “Now I feel grateful and thankful to have had the opportunity to play with girls much older than me.”

Although she is younger than most of her team, she was able to demonstrate the same skills as her older teammates. She had a total of 328 points, 72 rebounds, and 43 assists.

“I’m so thankful for having an opportunity to play for varsity these last two years” said Sausedo
