Your Ripon High Indians came out victorious defeating the Livingston Wolves 41-0. The record of your Ripon High Indians improves to 6-1 and wants to accomplish making the playoffs once again as they have been for the past four years.

“I think it’s just seeing everybody healthy and really pushing each other to get that spot. For me I got pulled up and seeing all the starters and stuff, it’s just pushing me to wanting to get better and it sucks to say they get hurt, but that means you have to fill in that role and wanting to do as good or better than they did, and kind of take role of what they did before,” Varsity player Jack Manning.

This year’s varsity team has been working very hard and despite the many injuries including star quarterback, Nico Illardi, they still manage to play with heart. 

“It’s more than just a team-building thing, we’re trying to give them skills that they take into their lives after high school and the core principles will help them become successful,” Ripon High Head Coach Chris Musseman

 Football isn’t just about the popularity and having girls wearing your jersey. It’s about the countless memories and all the bonds you create with your teammates, on and off the field. One thing Ripon High’s football coach believes is that S.W.A.G is very important (S stands for Scholar, W stands for Winners, A stands for Athlete, and G stands for Gentlemen). Every year the whole football organization comes together to help create a better bond with the players and are taught skills to use in their life when they graduate high school so they can become successful and life.
