Give a warm welcome to Ripon High’s new librarian, Tammy Paxton!
Growing up, Paxton lived in the Bay Area, she grew up and has now accomplished a lot. She has 4 kids, two kids are attending elementary school, Transitional Kindergarten (TK) and Kindergarten. The other two kids have or are attending RHS. Although, before becoming our librarian she was a retired stay at home mom.
Paxton was a deputy sheriff for Alameda County. She served for 12 years and retired a few years ago to stay at home with her little kids. Aside from being our librarian and a mom, she’s also a cheer coach. She coaches the Tiny Tribe, a group of little girls who cheer during an RHS football game.
As her children grew older and are now going to school, that became her inspiration to become Ripon High’s librarian. Being here she hopes to have some type of impact on the students.
Paxton says, “I want to watch them grow.”
RHS is lucky to have such a great librarian. Welcome Tammy Paxton and give her appreciation for everything she does.
