Marching Band Leads Parade

Marching+Band+Leads+Parade

Homecoming is a big part of Ripon High at this time of year. The RHS marching band has introduced everything and everyone to what Ripon High School has to offer.

The marching band’s performance was terrific and incomparable to any other performance we have seen from the RHS band yet. The marching band opened up the Homecoming Parade and really stepped up to show everyone how it’s done. The Ripon High band instructor, Geoffrey Felver, says, “We’re playing professional level literature, and that’s the same music the best band in the United States plays.”

The RHS band has been getting better and better every day since their first performance this year. The marching band made its performance something to remember with unforgettable jingles. Senior, Kira Basinal, states, “I think we did well but there’s still things we can improve on. Obviously, we didn’t have too much time since we just started practicing in August.”

The marching band most definitely has a bright future to show
