Senior student, Cassandra Mount, publicly announced her commitment to Simpson University in California, on Oct. 23. She has committed to this University to play softball and take her talent to a higher level! Mount has been playing softball since she was a little girl, and has been influenced by all of her family that plays softball, making her want to continue the tradition. This school is based in Redding and is a division 3 athletics school. She really enjoys playing and is happy that she has finally made it this far into the sport. Mount is very excited and relieved to be going to this college.
Mount says, “I am really excited because I already know people that go to this college and being committed almost makes me feel like there is a weight taken off my shoulders.”
