Band Lights Up the Night

Band+Lights+Up+the+Night

Our choir and band here at RHS lit up the night with their holiday music at the Night Rally. On Dec. 6, there was a Holiday Night Rally located in the MUB with a bunch of festive activities and treats. As it came to a close, the band, led by Geoffrey Felver, provided the students and staff that attended the rally with holiday music. They proudly performed With Every Winter’s Breath, and classic carols such as Jingle Bells and Joy to the World.

Chloe Lautenslager, junior flutist, exclaimed, “It was so fun playing the carols, but then listening to everyone else sing them, even if they weren’t in the key or singing the right notes, it didn’t matter. They were enjoying themselves and they were singing their hearts out. It was super fun and it made me happy inside that they were enjoying what [we] were doing.”

Their winter concert is on Dec. 13 at seven in the evening. Come check out both the band and the choir for their performance of many holiday songs!
