Danielle Rey, a freshman at Ripon High, has been honing her soccer skills for ten years. Her hard work and dedication have landed her a spot on the RHS Varsity soccer team as a midfielder.
In her own words, “Playing on varsity as a freshman is a great feeling. It’s rewarding to see my efforts pay off.”
Rey takes pride in being a valuable team member and excelling in her athletic abilities. The Varsity team has provided her with a wonderful platform to foster new relationships and expand her social circle.
“Though it can be tough at times, I’m truly thankful for the chance to showcase my skills and work together with such an amazing group of girls,” Rey expresses, “It’s been a privilege to bond and develop as a collective unit.”
Overall Rey is thankful for the opportunity to play on the RHS Varsity soccer team. The girls have had a great season with a record of 9-1. Playoffs start on Saturday, Feb. 10. Be sure to go support the girls and cheer them on to victory.
