The Ripon swimmers came out with a splash against Oakdale, on Thursday, April 12, 2024, winning the away meet with flying colors. Sophomore, Faith Fasani has been swimming for nine years. She has been swimming for the Ripon Aquatics club team and participating in high school swimming.
Fasani exclaims, “before my races, I visualize how I want to swim the event and the details that will help me achieve a personal best time.”
Fasiani was pleasantly surprised by her performance at the meet, improving her time in the 200 freestyle by three seconds.
Fasani states, “both my relays did really well! We were three seconds off of the school record in the 400 freestyle relay.”
Overall, Fasani is proud of herself and her team! She is glad to be a part of the Ripon swim team family and cherishes the friendships she has made. Fasani wants to further her career in swimming and is willing to do anything she can to work her hardest to go above and beyond in swimming.
Fasani says, “my overall goal for swimming is to get a D1 college scholarship.”
Fasnai has already shown great promise in her highschool career and will continue to push herself to get into a great college.
The RHS swimmers have had a great season to be proud of. They are ready to start training for VOLs and make their way to sections. So make sure you support RHS Swim in their future successes!
