Here at Ripon High we like to come together as a community to show our love and support for our school. School spirit is all about cheering on sports teams, participating in pep rallies and other school activities, and especially dress up days.  

Junior Mateo Elisary does an amazing job at showing his spirit and positivity through his uplifting energy and unique dress up day choices. 

As well as showing his spirit around school, Mateo enjoys playing football and golf, welding, and weight lifting.

Mateo’s favorite spirit day outfit so far was on Toy Story day, when he dressed up as an alien. 

Mateo usually likes to plan out his outfits a week in advance, where he then carefully selects his spirit day outfits on amazon. 

When asked how he felt about winning spirit of the month, Mateo responded by saying,

“I’m happy that everyone likes watching me dress up for spirit days.”

School spirit helps bring a positive and inclusive environment for our students. 

Ultimately creating an environment where every student and staff member feels connected and proud to be apart of our school. So make sure next dress up day to go all out, and if you need help deciding what to wear, you can always look to Mateo for inspiration!
