Girls golf continues to show their hard work as they won both games this week. Their first game of the week was against Ripon Christian on Sept. 10, and on Sept. 12 against Sonora. For both games, it was a decisive win with the score against Ripon Christian being 180-191 and Sonora 189-203. With the golf season on a successful streak, we hope they continue to keep improving and showing their capabilities.
One of the newest players to the golf team, a freshman who is surely showing her talent, is Cameron Seefeldt, who on Sept. 10 tied for the top score along with senior Sienna Pimentel.
Cameron states,” My favorite part about golf is making connections with people. Not a lot of people my age play so it’s nice to make connections with people who enjoy the same stuff as me.”
The golf team, although the season has just begun, has shown their talents and told everyone that they are a team that should be respected. Next week the Lady Indians face off against Hilmar and we hope everyone can show up to cheer them on.
Keep up the great work ladies!
