Kennedy Winter is a senior at Ripon High School this year and has attended Ripon schools for the entirety of her education. Winter attended Colony Oak from K-8 and has attended RHS all four years. Throughout the four years, Winter has become a light around the campus for younger students to look up to.
Winter is involved in many things such as being Editor-in-Chief for the Yearbook class, president of the Girls League club, a Sober Grad ambassador, and a link crew leader. Winter was on the varsity golf team for two years and participated in many events like powderpuff, the lip sync competition, and of course dressing up for all the spirit days.
Winter hopes to continue her education at a CSU and take part in a nursing program. Winter has worked very hard throughout her years of high school, maintaining a high GPA and taking AP classes as well. She hopes her hard work will pay off for college. Most recently, Winter was selected to be a homecoming candidate, displaying incredible spirit and support for her fellow candidates.
“Homecoming court was such a fun way to kick off my last homecoming by getting to dress up and represent the school.”
Throughout her years, Winter has made so many memories and long lasting relationships. Her favorite memory so far of high school was being an emcee for the Sober Grad fashion show her junior year. Winter also looks forward to many upcoming things for her senior year.
“I’m especially excited about actually being in the Sober Grad fashion show this year as a senior.”
Overall from the looks of it, Winter has had an amazing high school experience and she has many upcoming activities to finish up her high school experience.
