In celebration of Diwali, the Punjabi club gave students the opportunity to get a small, medium, or large henna tattoo for an inexpensive price, with a side of a complimentary drink. It happened during lunch at Ripon High on Nov. 5 and it was a way to raise money for the club and appreciate the vivid Indian culture.
Seniors Jeevika Chaudhaury and Kamal Kaur are the co-presidents of the club and they believe that the turnout could’ve been better. But, they’re still very appreciative of those who came out to support.
Currently, the club has nothing planned, but they’re working on organizing more events for the school in the future. Please attend their meetings, you won’t regret it!
