Whether it’s staff or students, Ripon High is always bringing new additions to our campus! The construction of the new C building began last school year of 2023-2024. This year the building is finally done. 

The students that are involved in Agriculture are now transitioning into this new learning environment. It is an adjustment that both the students and teachers are going to have to soothe into. 

Although it has only been a couple days in the new building for Ms. Hyatt’s Introduction to Food and Agriculture class, they seem to be adjusting well. This class is located on the second floor of the building and contains a new commercial kitchen, filled with upgraded appliances. 

“I love the new layout, and how much space we now have, especially in the kitchen area,” says Hyatt.

It has not only been an upgrade for the introduction class, but also for the mechanics classes. At Ripon High we have multiple opportunities for students to learn skills, such as how to work on small engines, and computer programming classes.

These classes will now be able to practice and execute their skills in the bottom half of the new building.

It has only been a couple weeks since the new building has opened, and there are so many more weeks that Ripon High is looking forward to enjoying it!
