Varsity boys basketball had a fire start for this season’s league games. Both games from last week ended with a huge victory, creating a good standing for them among the other teams in the Trans Valley League. On Jan. 8, the Indians went up against Hughson and it was a close fight through and through. Of course, the score was 60-46. Then, on Jan. 10, they went up against River Islands, a team coached by a Ripon High legend, Graham. Again, the game ended with a victory and a score of 62-54.
Senior Marcus Madoski was the most prominent in both games with his impressive skills, which is proudly shown through his stats. “Collectively, we did amazing as a team. Our team chemistry is starting to show during these games.”
The boys’ next game takes place tonight at Orestimba on Jan. 14. Come out and support!
