On Tues., Jan. 14, the JV girls basketball team won their game against Orestimbaby a score of 28-26 and it was held at Ripon.
The team has had a lot of losses this season, however they have not let down their determination. The team continues to give it their all.
During the first quarter, our girls team was at a scoring average of 8.3, while Orestimba was ahead at 12.0.
By the fourth quarter, the girls were able to catch up the score and win the game at an end total score of 28-26. This game left the girls in an overall 6-7.
“Our teamwork was strong. We always keep a smile on each other’s faces and stay connected throughout the game,” says sophomore defense player Eknoor Kaur.
