On Wed., January 22,, Ripon junior varsity and varsity girl soccer players went against Hughson High school. Our varsity team won with a final score of 8-0. Our junior varsity team also won their match, with a final score of 7-1.
Katherine Van Gorkom, a part of our varsity girls soccer team, had the most goals this game, with a high number of 3. Rylee Agbayani followed with 2 goals in this match. The varsity match concluded with a total of 101 steals between the whole entire team.
“My favorite part of the match was seeing us a a team all trying to help each other score and celebrating after winning together.” Says sophomore varsity player, Danielle Rey.
This game left our Varsity girls 12-3 on the campaign.
