Our art classes bring color onto campus! Mr. Bowers is one of the art teachers here at RHS. This month his Art 1 class has been working on completing a color chart.
The class has been investigating the color wheel and learning to grasp a better understanding of the complementary colors, as well as mixing colors.
“They have to do a painting design of their choice, but it has to look aesthetically pleasing,” explains Bowers.
The students have been given many practice opportunities to mix and match colors and now these skills will be put to use in a final project. They will paint a picture of their choice and reflect their color skills.
