From a timid freshman to a team leader, Adriana Dorn’s countless hours in the gym lead her to a full ride at UOP, leaving an impactful legacy behind for many to learn and grow from.
Many people see high school sports as an individual game, but for Dorn it’s about teamwork and friendship. “My teammates are my best friends” She says when asked about her motivation for games. As a senior who’s been on varsity all four years, making new friends within her team was very important each and every year.
Adriana’s “best friend since eighth grade”, Mackenzie Spear says “She was very nervous freshman year… she’s gotten way more outgoing”. Being friendly is an important skill to have but being outgoing is much more impactful. Adriana will need the people skills she has developed throughout her years at RHS and make some amazing new friends at UOP.
With about 120 games under her belt, Adrianna Dorn has learned and grown in many ways at Ripon High. The support and friendships she has created on her team will impact her immensely when she takes her shoes for the last time at Ripon High.
