With September ending, the Lady Indians managed to keep their place being second in the league, winning in 3 sets against Ripon Christian. On Sept 19th the sets were 25-17, 25-21, 25-14. The Lady Indians took charge and came out on top through all three sets!

The Lady Indians had great chemistry and exceptional communication. Olivia Newman, senior from Ripon High said, “When you get down to it, it’s like sisterhood. It’s the people you go back to at the end of the day. We rely on each other and we trust each other.”
Out on the court the teams were equally as good having multiple rally’s and cutting it close each set. Alayna Sprinkle, junior from Ripon High said, “There were a lot of hustle plays and balls flying everywhere, and the fact that we were able to get them up and then get the point off of them was amazing.”
The girls powered through to victory against Ripon Christian in their three set game with every rally and every ace the girls pushed through and won. The Lady Indians hope to keep their title as section champions.
