Ripon High had their annual Homecoming dance/skits rally at the North Gym on September 17. Each of the ten candidates had to perform in front of the whole school showing off their best moves. But before we got to the candidates, the rally was kicked off with the class chants, which seniors won! Then, the cheerleaders performed and were awesome like always. The moment we had all been waiting for came soon after that. The candidate dances began with Andrina Aguilar and Chase DePrue dancing to “SexyBack” by Justin Timberlake. Then came Kody Day and Nicole Anthony dressed as cute clowns, dancing to a funny country song. Next was Charles Brooks and Jessica Carmona dancing to “Roar” by Katy Perry and dressed as wild tigers. After them came Brittany Ellis dressed as a football player and Michael Morris as a cheerleader. Finally, Corey Winter and Seleena Williams came out and had a dancing competition with each other. All the candidates did an amazing job! Hopefully you were there, otherwise you totally missed out!
