Friday, October 18, 2013, the Ripon High Drama club held a Halloween celebration by watching the horror comedy, Killer Klowns from Outer Space, at 7 pm in the school library. Brownies, cookies, and Skittles were just some of the treats the students brought to accompany the fun. The movie night was a hit with over 15 people in attendance.
Those who did not attend, because they were too busy clowning around, missed out on some good, old-fashioned 80’s cheese.
Alyssa Acosta, the Vice President, exclaimed, “The movie was scary!”
David Verdugo Raab, on the other hand, had a different opinion. “It was very funny!” he said, with a huge grin on his face.
The majority of the attendees seemed to agree with David and laughs could be heard throughout the whole film. Sometimes horror movies do not have to scare you to have a good time, and Drama Club’s movie night is proof of that.
