Ripon High School students attended the back-to-school dance and showed their moves at the energetic event on Friday, August 19th.
“I thought the dance was such an unforgettable and fun experience! I can’t wait for next year’s dance,” said Sydney Vernon, a sophomore.
The back-to-school dance is an event that is attended by many students who show Ripon High School spirit.
“I thought the dance was great and I had a wonderful time because there was good music, and a lot of people were there,” said Rebecca Anderson, a sophomore.
How much students enjoy high school dances depends on the atmosphere. Students need good music to dance to because without dancing and going along with the music, the atmosphere of the dance can become dull.
“The back to school dance is always something I look forward to because most of the school goes. I went with a big group of friends so that made it that much more fun,”said Katie Kaiser, a junior.
Some RHS students enjoy the dance in groups. To some, including Katie Kaiser, the bigger the group, the more the fun because the entire group can dance along.
Melissa DaRosa, a senior, also attended the back-to-school dance and gave very positive feedback on how the dance was and how much she enjoyed it. “Because there were so many people at the back-to-school dance, no one was afraid of how you looked or how you danced, so everyone enjoyed and danced freely. The back-to-school dance has always been one of my favorite events at RHS!”
