10. Get More Sleep.

  • Try to get at least 8 hours of sleep each night in order for your body to be able to recover from a stressful day. Getting plenty of sleep will help your body and mind relief some of your stress.

9. Be Productive. DON’T Procrastinate.

  • Get stuff done. If you have a lot of work, break it up into chunks and get it done in small increments. DON’T wait until the last minute because that will be worse in the long run.

  • Buy a bathbomb or some nice bubbly soap and relax in a nice, warm bath. You might even take a book or magazine to read during this. Being able to relax in the bath will help your body relax and will help you to fall asleep.

  • Go buy a candle in your favorite scent or use a candle that you already have. Use stress relief scents like spearmint, peppermint, lavender, and lemon to help relax you. You can even try to light these candles during your bath to help you relax even more. Essential oils are als0 a good way to relieve stress through scents.

  • Relaxing noises like the waves hitting the shore, rain falling, or relaxing music with no words can help you concentrate and relax while working on something difficult or dealing with something hard.

  • Work in a clean environment. If there are things scattered about, pick them up really quick. Working in a clean space will help you concentrate and work better because you will feel organized and ready to start your work. It will also allow you to take your mind off the stress for a little while.
