Will You Leave Happy’s Happy?
Happy’s Indian Kitchen is a new restaurant in Ripon and serves authentic North-Indian and Punjabi cuisine. Happy’s opened up at the old location of Milano’s Pizza a few months ago after the the space was left empty for a short time.
When you walk into Happy’s, the first thing you notice is the restaurant’s casualness. It’s not an over-the-top restaurant and has a relaxed enough vibe that you could come in with friends and family for a quick bite to eat without much thought.
When you walk into the small but tidy restaurant, you’ll be greeted in a friendly manner, taken to your table, and get your drink order taken quickly. We didn’t have to wait at all to be seated.
The waiters create a comfortable environment and are quick to answer any questions. Our waiter recommended the chicken tikka masala, mixed vegetables, and white rice. We also ended up ordering a naan, a type of flatbread, and chicken kebab.
The wait for the food was only about 15 minutes, and it came out hot and in a family style setting.
Personally, I thought the food was delicious. It was similar to home-cooked Indian food. The food had flavor, and it tasted like other Indian food I have tried. Although the restaurant may not be as decorated or as big as other Indian restaurants, the food had similar taste and and presentation.
Because of Happy’s polite customer service and delicious authentic Punjabi food, I would recommend it because I enjoyed my first time there.
