Stop Joking With Me

Some people are naturally funny, with perfect timing, delivery, and word play. Others use sarcasm to joke, and some use planned jokes. However you joke, it could be the start of a new friendship, a much needed laugh, or a paid show.

Stand up comedians like Kevin Hart and Sebastian Mancuso use different types of humor to appeal to their audiences. Hart uses more sexual and risky humor, like cuss words and sexual statements. Mancuso uses stories from his life that he embellishes. Mancuso tells the audience what he is thinking in certain situations and acts them out.

There are jokes that are not so funny, but the delivery can change the outcome of the joke. Here are some examples.

  • Knock! Knock! Who’s there? Figs. Figs who? Figs your doorbell.
  • Did you hear about the bed bugs that fell in love? They are getting married in the spring.
  • Dad I’m hungry. Hi Hungry, I’m dad.

Certain types of jokes can go through phases, like not so much a structured joke, but  a one liner that makes things more funny.

Saying “Your Mom” when replying to someone is one of these phases. A few years ago, this was an average answer for a random question. Here is an example.

  • “What’s for lunch?” The reply “your mom!”

There are other jokes that involve mothers, they are called “yo mama jokes.” These jokes consist of an insult directed toward the recipients mom.

  • “Yo mamas so fat they had to baptize her at sea world.”
  • Yo mamas so ugly, even flies wouldn’t land on her.

Jokes can be used in many different ways, some can be mean, but most are for a good laugh.
