This year for speech and debate, the club is trying to take speaking to another level. The club gets a lot of time to become better speakers, they meet once every 2 weeks. These meetings are held at lunch time in the library, which is a great place to work and have meetings. The club works so hard, so they can compete in the Speech competition held once per semester.This will be a school wide event. “Our goal is just to improve our speech and debate skills and to make sure that each student has the chance to share their thoughts and opinions,” David Wang, Senior and president of the club. People need an opportunity to learn how to become a better speaker, that is exactly what this club has to offer. All students participating in this club have experienced everything Wang said there was to benefit from. If you would like to become a better speaker, this is the club for you!
