A Sprint-acular XC Senior Night
As the XC season comes to an end, Ripon High hosted Senior Night on Wednesday, Oct. 26 to award our senior XC runners for all the hard work they put in throughout their years in high school. During the Senior night, seniors Kyle Baird, Holden Jackson, Skye Waibel, Ryan Wohle, Tristan Anderson, Julio Pelaez, Ivan Gladnikov, Alannah Lehr, Lauren Martini, Joselin Figueroa, Annie Wild, and Asia Rose ran their last race as a part of the Ripon High XC team. The varsity girls did phenomenal and got first place. Varsity boys also did remarkable and came in second. After their races, Devin Fitzpatrick, junior, called up all of the seniors where they received a gift that the other teams provided. Annie Wild, senior, was awarded with TBL MOP (most outstanding player). Overall, the Ripon High XC team had a spectacular season and we wish all of our seniors luck as they go off to pursue their dreams.
“XC has been one of the best teams I’ve been on, the group of girls that are running, they’re always there to support each other, and the coaches are right behind them,” Says Annie Wild, senior.
