• Attention AP students: The deadline for paying for the AP exams is approaching. You must pay the deposit or the full amount by October 31st to take the test. Don’t miss the deadline!
  • Attention FFA members! If you are in need of community service hours OR an activity point, there will be a school farm work day this tomorrow, October 29th, from 9am-1:30pm. Sign ups are in all Ag classrooms. We need to know how many are attending, as lunch will be provided. If you have any questions please see Mr. B.
  • Estudiantes Unidos will be selling Spook-O-Grams this week during lunch outside of the library. Stop by to purchase a special Halloween message for your friends, someone special, or a staff member. Spook-O-Grams are $3 a piece or $5 for 2.
  • This is the week to bring in your books for the Ripon High Book Drive! Donation boxes are in each English teacher’s classroom for easy drop off. Please make sure the books are age appropriate for kids 6-18 years old. We will be donating the books to the Boys and Girls Club. Thank you in advance for your donations!
  • There will be a Sacred Heart meeting today in P11, Mr. Perez’s room, at lunch. We will be choosing Officers and hope to see you there.
  • Hey RHS! Next week is Dude Be Nice Week! It’s a spirit week that will show gratitude to our Dude or Dudette for this year as well as to our student body. Next week’s spirit days are as follows; Monday – Don’t be scared of gratitude, dress up for Halloween. Tuesday – Be grateful for you and wear your favorite PJ’s or sweats. Wednesday – Show gratitude for your guardians and dress up as either a soccer mom or BBQ dad. Thursday – College spirit day. Dress in your favorite college attire to be grateful for education. Finally, Friday – Show gratitude for our teachers, dress as your favorite teacher on campus or red and white spirit dress. We also have a rally on Friday next week and we can’t wait to see your spirit!
  • Congratulations to the varsity volleyball team for their 3-1 victory over Hughson last night. They have advanced to the semifinals on Tuesday at 7pm at home and will face Sutter.  We have some exciting news: generous parents are paying for 30 student tickets to help fill up the student section. The first 30 students to sign up on a Google Form will receive a ticket for entry. Watch SuperFan Social Media and the SuperFan app for the link to the form which will be released later today!
  • Congratulations to both the boys and girls water polo teams for being seeded #2 in their playoff brackets.  We will host the first round of playoffs next Thursday and Friday.  Tickets for playoff games must be purchased on GoFan. Watch for the links to tickets.
