  • The Seal of Biliteracy is still open for seniors to apply.  Please see Mr Saenz or Mrs McPherson to verify if you meet the requirements and to get your application. The deadline to apply is next Wednesday, February 1st.

  • There will be a Swim Team meeting for anyone interested in joining the team next Thursday, February 2nd at 5pm at the pool. Don’t miss it!

  • Anyone interested in playing tennis, conditioning starts Monday on the tennis courts at 4pm starting January 30th. No rackets needed until February 6th.

  • The Red Cross is putting on a blood drive at Immanuel Christian Reformed Church next week on Tuesday, January 31st from 11am-5pm. Make sure to stop by if you are old enough and can help save lives. You can also help by making posters for the blood drive and get 3 hours of community service volunteer hours for each poster. If you have any questions DM the RHS Red Cross Instagram account @rhs.redcross.club

  • Our RHS Esports teams all walked away with victories in the first week of the CIF regular season this week. Support player Vincent Svay led our League of Legends team with accurate hook engages as we stomped El Diamante High School 2-0 with an almost perfect scoreline. Our Smash team also swept our opponents from Oakmont High School 3-0 with Thomas Myers sealing the deal in the deciding game 2. Look out for notifications on socials when we start to stream our matches in the next few weeks.

  • Auditions for ‘Grease the Musical’ are this Monday, January 30th at 4:00pm in Mr Felver’s room, H4. Check out our Instagram @riponhighdrama. We hope to see you there!

  • Anyone planning on playing football in the fall, there is a meeting today at lunch in the south gym.  We will cover uniforms and numbers for next year.We are also going to discuss offseason information.

  • Just a reminder for anyone who needs to serve detention – Detention is Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 3:45-4:45 pm and Wednesday from 7:45-8:15 am in F4. Make sure to get your detentions served so you don’t end up in Saturday school!

  • Yesterday’s Fan Poll Results are in. 76% got the answer correct. Harley Davidson was founded in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Our Ripon Coffee House gift card winner is Hannah Lehr. Stop by E1 to claim your prize. The final fan poll of the week went out this morning.

  • If you made a poster for tonight’s game, pick it up when you arrive.  You will not be allowed to bring posters into the game.

  • There is no competition during halftime tonight, but we will draw a few random winners for coupons to the world famous North Gym Snack Bar. Make sure you check in for a chance to win! Please remember – water ONLY in the gym.

  • As Winterfest 2023 comes to a close, we have the results of the shopping cart competition. In 4th place came the Juniors, in 3rd were the Freshmen, 2nd were the Sophomores and in first were the Seniors!

  • The totals right now, before our final spirit counts of Winterfest are as follows: Freshmen 44 points, Sophomores 45 points, Juniors 46 points, and seniors 64 points.  It will all come down to who participated in today’s spirit day. It’s ‘bring anything but a backpack day’ and Red & white day. The spirit has been so big this week that our candy supply is almost gone! The final results of Winterfest 2023 will be revealed tonight at the varsity halftime show. As a reminder, we crown our Spirit King & Spirit Queen tonight at halftime of the varsity game.
