Environmental Advocacy Club Clothing Drive

The RHS Environmental Advocacy Club is hosting a used clothing drive. Gently used clothes were brought to the club advisor, Ms. Van Vuren’s, classroom last week. The week of April 24 through 28 students can buy the donated items at lunch in Van Vuren’s room.

“A solution is teaching that if your clothing is not damaged, but you don’t wear it, donate it instead of throwing it away. From that we came up with the idea of collecting clothing that students are no longer using and teaching them how to thrift shop,” stated Van Vuren.

Each item will be priced at a dollar. Most of the proceeds will go to funding the club and the events that they put on.  Come out and support the club on their last day of the drive and take pride in wearing new or gently used secondhand clothing!
