Freshman students, Maddy Kihlstrom and Mason Buck were honored with the student of the month award for the month of October. Both students were nominated for being dedicated, hard working students, and also being able to maintain school while doing a fall sport.
Kihlstrom says, “A way I maintain my grades while playing volleyball is during the varsity second set I will try to get some of my homework done.” Not only are both these students capable of keeping up with their grades and a sport, but they also have made time for a social life in High School.
“I like having different classes because it changes the environment, and I like meeting new people.” says Buck. Overall both Kihlstrom and Buck do an outstanding job at being able to be good students while maintaining their grades and playing sports. Congratulations to our well-deserved students of the month!
