Once again voting season is in the air. But what most people dont know is that this year, there are two groups that could potentially turn the tide of elections, that is women and the younger generation.
Staticians have seen a 30% increase in voting by women during the last elections and predict a larger increase of 40.5%. Even younger voters 18-21 have shown a slight increase of 25.3% in the last two elections.
Political scientist Brandon Zachary had to say this about the stats. “Not only are these stats impressive, but even more impressive is that political parties aren’t taking advantage of this information.” Both Republicans and Democrats are expected to target these groups in up coming elections
