Friday March 27 the Ripon High Swim team took on the East Union Lancers. As the competition looked stiff with East Union’s huge team, Ripok swimmers were pleased to find they had a JV team, which had no importance, and their varsity team was very limited on “fast” swimmers.
Ripon Boys won 92-77 and Girls won 107-63. With the teams times improving at a steady rate thanks to hard work at practice, Ripon Girls are looking to Take VOL by storm, and keep undefeated and boys are looking for redemption agains Kimball at VOL Championships next month. No matter the outcome, Ripon High Swim is looking strong and numerous swimmers aw looking strong on advancing to sections.
