Ripon High School’s varsity football team beats Grace Davis High School 34-7
After an unyielding first half the varsity football team soared over Spartan heads with a win of 27 points at the end of the game.
The first quarter ended with a score of seven for Grace Davis High School, and zero for the Indians. The first half resulted in a tie, with a last second passing touchdown by made by Tino Raygoza, a Junior at Ripon High School.
After an uneventful first half the team picked up speed gaining 14 points in the 3rd quarter and 13 in the next one.
The team proudly took home the win from this away game held at Downey High School in Modesto, Ca.
The JV team also won their game with a final score of 54-20.
Many students, parents, and faculty showed up in support of the team. One of which was Mr. Gilman a science teacher at Ripon High. The ASB President, Kayla Jacklich also attended to show her school spirit. Don’t miss out on the next one Ripon High. Join the tribe!
