Last Saturday, September 17, the cross country team traveled to Angels Camp. There, both the 2 mile Junior Varsity girls placed first out of three schools. Their fastest runner, Bailey Joachim had a time of 16:58; the 3 mile Junior Varsity boys earned first out of three, and Andrew Nilsson had the fastest time of 22:24.
The 2 mile freshman boys placed 5th with their fastest time being 14:18 ran by Aaron McDonough. The 2 mile Frosh/Soph girls also placed 5th with Gianna Brocchini having the fastest time of 16:27. The 3 mile Varsity boys placed 9th, with their fastest runner being Christian Pelaez running an 18:50, while the 3 mile Varsity girls placed 4th with Sonora Castillo running a 23:15. The 2 mile Sophomore boys were the only event to not make a placing, but their fastest runner was Grayson Wagner with a time of 15:02.
