Cowboys fans seemed to feel let down when they got the news about their quarterback, Tony Romo’s injury before the season started. The Cowboys called up rookie, Dak Prescott, to start their season off. The Cowboys fell in their season opener against the New York Giants 19-20. Starting their season off 0-1, they seemed a little down, however, the Cowboys are now on an 8 game winning streak. Dak Prescott has found his place, and with help from rookie running back, Ezekiel Elliott, Prescott has helped the Cowboys get to the current best record in the NFL. On Sunday, November 13th, the Cowboys battled a tough game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, resulting with a win in the last minute. Prescott found running back, Ezekiel Elliott, for a touchdown that won the game for the Cowboys, 35-30. The last time the Dallas Cowboys won 8 games in a row was in 1977, when they also won the Super Bowl. Dak Prescott will also continue to start for Week 11 against the Baltimore Ravens, with Tony Romo stepping in as backup. “Dak has got a hot hand, and we’re going to go with it,” said owner and general manager, Jerry Jones. Prescott has 14 touchdown passes and has only been intercepted twice so far. “It’s just going with the obvious” Jones said.
