The Ripon Varsity Volleyball team played their fourth playoff game on Wednesday 16, 2016. They played against Sutter High who are also in the TVL league with our Ripon team.
The match was played best out of five Ripon winning three shutting Sutter down. The first game was 25-11 Ripon High. The second game Sutter came the closest, the score 25-20 us. The third game was 25-18 Ripon winning the playoffs.
Their win against Sutter brought them one step closer to State. They played against Hilmar a close match, Ripon winning but Hilmar wasn’t far behind pushing the match to five games. This win brought them out of Sections and into Regionals. The game against Sutter was their first game of Regionals, their second will be against Branson High, where if they win they will go on to State to play against several other teams who also made it past Sections and Regionals.
