Did You Miss Me?

Reality shows are back! Ever since COVID-19 hit worldwide reality shows had to stop producing, but throughout the past year, they have slowly been coming back. But they weren’t the same, they would do virtual shows.

A good example is The Voice, if you have been living under a rock the voice is a show where people sing in front of judges/coaches but there’s a twist, none of the judges can see the singer if a singer gets at least 2 judges and they move onto the next round, each coach has the power to block a rival coach from getting an artist they turned a chair for.

In late 2020 the show came back but was virtual. But they recently came back in person and they now have a new judge…Ariana Grande.

“I’m happy that Ariana grande is on the show, I think she makes a great addition[..] I also like how it back in person, what they did during covid didn’t feel normal,” said Emily sesser, junior

Dancing with the stars is coming right back with season 30, with Tyra Banks being announced as returning host, with Len Goodman to judge full time on the panel with Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and Derek Hough. Jojo Siwa is going to be a star on the show along with Suni Lee, an Olympic medalist.

“I’m personally not a big fan of Jojo Swia, and the dance routine she provided on this new season was really bad. I’m not the biggest fan of Dancing with the Stars this year,” said Grace Sesser, freshman.

They are announced the first participants, with Jojo to be the first-ever female celebrity to be paired with a female pro.

“I’m excited about the new season, I like to see what celebrities are on each season and what dances they come up with,” said Tatiana Perez, freshman.
