Laughter and the rustling of candy wrappers emanated from Mrs. Leedy’s classroom Friday after school where the RHS Anime Club held its first candy swap. And boy was there tons of sugar!
Lollipops, Snickers, Sweetarts, Reese’s, and much more were poured onto the tables, and then the exchange began! Permanent smiles were on everyone’s faces as they chatted, while playing some fun trivia games.
As the meeting ended, the officers said their goodbyes to everyone and Mrs. Leedy. With sugar powered minds, new comers and regulars left with the excitement of the weekend on their minds. Anime club will definitely be holding another Candy Swap next year! Hope to see you all there!
