Rooters’ Bus

One of the newest clubs at Ripon High provides a way for students to get involved with cheering on their high school teams.

It’s called the Rooters Bus and students are able to go to away games.  All they need to do is get a permission slip signed and then they are able to take the bus to and from away games.

Some different athletic events that the bus could be used for is basketball, volleyball, and especially football.  It’s a way to get students involved.

The first game against Sierra, only about 12 students took the bus so it was decided that they would take vans instead.  The club is hoping that more students will be willing to go to the games that are farther away.

Students and staff alike believe that this club has the potential to vamp up the student section.
